DESCRIPTION:

Low growing succulent with thick blue-gray rippled leaves and a flower stalk that extends a foot above the plant.

TAXONOMY:

The common name, Hen & Chicks, can refer to several differ species of succulents that botanically speaking may only be distantly related. But they all share the characteristic of producing small rosette babies near the base of the mother plant.
