POLLINATION:

The flowers have 5 petals that grow upright and are fused at the tips, creating a sort of cage. Tiny flies are their main pollinator, they are attracted to the flower and temporarily get caught in this “cage,” accomplishing pollination as they struggle trying to figure out how to escape.
